Palmer & Pine was created around a simple belief: home should feel warm, welcoming, and intentionally lived in. More than an online shop, the brand combines curated home décor with interior decorating, seasonal styling, and home staging services—all centered around helping people create spaces they genuinely love. The challenge was designing a Shopify website that balanced shopping with storytelling while capturing the warmth and authenticity behind the brand.

The Goals
This project focused on creating a website that could:

- Tell the founders' story in an authentic and personal way.

The Design
The overall design was inspired by timeless interiors, cozy homes, and editorial lifestyle brands. Warm neutral tones, generous whitespace, classic typography, and layered imagery work together to create an experience that feels inviting from the moment visitors arrive.
Rather than treating products and services as separate parts of the business, the website guides visitors naturally between shopping, learning about the brand, and exploring design services. Every page was intentionally designed to feel collected, calm, and effortless—reflecting the same feeling Palmer & Pine hopes to create inside every home.

My Favorite Details
One of my favorite aspects of this project is how seamlessly the website transitions between retail and services. Visitors can begin by browsing a collection of home décor, discover the founders' story, and then naturally explore decorating or styling services without ever feeling like they're navigating two separate businesses.
I also loved creating a homepage that feels editorial rather than sales-driven. Instead of immediately pushing products, the site introduces visitors to the philosophy behind Palmer & Pine before inviting them to explore the collections. That slower, more intentional experience helps reinforce the warmth and authenticity that defines the brand.
The Result
The finished website feels like an extension of the Palmer & Pine brand itself—warm, timeless, and thoughtfully curated. It provides a seamless shopping experience while supporting the business's expanding service offerings, giving visitors confidence whether they're purchasing home décor, booking decorating services, or simply finding inspiration for their own home.
